Alcanada

Nestled on the northern coast of Mallorca, Golf Alcanada is one of Europe’s premier golf destinations. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and opened in 2003, this 18-hole, par-72 championship course blends seamlessly into a Mediterranean landscape of pine groves, olive trees, and sweeping sea views. The course stretches over 6,500 meters and is known for its strategic layout, with undulating fairways, elevated tees, and well-protected greens. Every hole offers a different challenge, demanding precision and thoughtful shot selection. Its signature feature is the stunning view of the Alcanada lighthouse sitting just offshore visible from most of the course. Consistently ranked among the best courses in Spain and continental Europe, Golf Alcanada offers an unforgettable experience for discerning golfers.

Capdepera

Capdepera Golf is a picturesque 18-hole course located in the quiet northeast of Mallorca, near the medieval town of Capdepera. Designed by American golf architect Dan Maples and opened in 1989, the course is known for its natural beauty and thoughtful layout that caters to players of all skill levels. The front nine unfolds gently through a broad valley, once home to almond groves, offering wide fairways and forgiving terrain. The back nine climbs into the foothills of the Llevant mountains, introducing tighter fairways, elevated tees, and sweeping views over the countryside. The most famous hole is the par-3 15th, perched high above the course and offering a panoramic view that stretches all the way to the sea widely regarded as one of the most beautiful holes on the island. This is a course that rewards strategy over power, patience over aggression, and offers one of the most authentic golf experiences in Mallorca.

Pula

Pula Golf, located near Son Servera in northeast Mallorca, is a premier 18-hole, par-72 course that has been a cornerstone of professional golf on the island. Originally established in 1995, it underwent a comprehensive redesign by José María Olazábal between 2004 and 2006 to meet the standards of international competition. The course spans 6,246 meters and is characterized by its strategic layout, where 14 holes offer a direct view of the green from the tee, enhancing the challenge and appeal for players. Water hazards, including two lakes and a river, are integral to the course’s design, demanding precision and thoughtful play. Pula Golf has hosted several prestigious tournaments, such as the Mallorca Classic on the European Tour from 2003 to 2007, the Iberdrola Open in 2010 and 2011, and the Mallorca Open Senior in 2012. Notable golfers like Sergio García, José María Olazábal, and Darren Clarke have competed here, adding to the course’s distinguished history

Son Servera

Club de Golf Son Servera, established in 1967, holds the distinction of being the second oldest golf club on Mallorca. Situated in the serene Costa de los Pinos area on the island’s northeast coast, the course is nestled between pine-covered mountains and offers stunning views over the Bay of Cala Millor.  The course is a gently undulating parkland layout, featuring generous fairways lined with a variety of trees, including oak, pine, olive, and carob. The front nine is particularly challenging, with holes 3 to 7 winding tightly through pine trees, requiring precise tee shots. The course measures 6,050 meters (6,616 yards) with a par of 72. It features large, subtly undulating greens that are true and enjoyable to putt on. Water hazards come into play on six holes, adding to the strategic challenge. The course is relatively flat and easily walkable, though buggies equipped with GPS are available and permitted on fairways, weather permitting.

Canyamel

Canyamel Golf is an 18-hole, par-73 championship course in northeast Mallorca, near the town of Capdepera. Designed by José Gancedo in 1988, it stretches 6,198 meters and is known for blending seamlessly into its natural surroundings. Fast greens, immaculate fairways, and sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sea define the experience. The front nine plays over rolling terrain, with natural contours and elevation changes adding strategic variety. A standout feature is the old stone hut that sits directly in the middle of the 9th fairway an unusual and memorable obstacle. The back nine flattens out but plays longer, with three par-5s and olive-lined fairways that test distance and accuracy. The ever-present coastal breeze adds an extra layer of difficulty across the course.
