Son Muntaner
Golf Son Muntaner is a top-tier 18-hole, par-72 course located just minutes from Palma, Mallorca. Designed by Kurt Rossknecht and opened in 2000, the course is renowned for its demanding layout, immaculate conditioning, and harmony with the surrounding natural landscape. Stretching 6,226 meters, it lies between the Na Burguesa mountain range and the Bay of Palma, delivering a golf experience that is as scenic as it is strategic.
One of the course’s standout features is “Na Capitana,” a centuries-old olive tree near the 15th hole, considered the oldest on the island. Son Antem
Son Antem Golf Club, located in Llucmajor just 10 minutes from Mallorca’s airport and 15 from Palma, offers two distinct 18-hole courses East and West both designed by Francisco López Segalés. With varied terrain, thoughtful layouts, and full resort amenities, it delivers one of the island’s most complete golf experiences.
The East Course, opened in 1994, features a classic parkland design with flat greens and wide fairways that invite aggressive play. Ideal for higher handicappers but far from simple, the course encourages strategic shot-making across a calm, open landscape once used as a hunting estate. The West Course, introduced in 2001, is more demanding. Narrower fairways, rolling greens, and multiple water hazards especially the three lakes that come into play on five holes challenge even experienced golfers. Son Quint
Golf Son Quint, opened in 2007, is the newest addition to the trio of 18-hole courses at the prestigious Arabella Golf Resort in Palma, Mallorca. Designed by Ramón Espinosa and Kurt Rossknecht, the course delivers a modern, welcoming layout that appeals to golfers of all levels from beginners to seasoned players.
Stretching approximately 6,200 meters, this par-72 course is defined by its open, attack-friendly design. The fairways are flanked by olive, carob, and pine trees, while the gently rolling terrain makes it a pleasant course to walk. Aggressive tee shots are rewarded, but smart course management is still essential to score well. Two standout moments come at holes 8 and 17, which offer sweeping views of the Bay of Palma reminders of the course’s stunning coastal setting.
Son Termens
Golf Son Termes is a picturesque 18-hole, par-70 course nestled in the hills of Bunyola, just 10 kilometers north of Palma, Mallorca. Designed by the Harris Group in collaboration with José Rodríguez, the course opened in 1998 and has earned a reputation for its eco-conscious design and seamless integration into the rugged terrain of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains.
Measuring 5,598 meters from the white tees, the course features a hilly, natural layout that rewards strategic play and accuracy. The dramatic elevation changes not only test shot-making ability but also offer sweeping views across the countryside and out toward the Bay of Palma. Every hole feels rooted in its surroundings, delivering a round that’s both physically engaging and visually striking.
Maioris
Golf Maioris is a modern 18-hole, par-72 championship course located in Llucmajor, just a 15-minute drive from Palma de Mallorca. Designed by Dieter Cabus and opened in 2006 under the vision of Romeo Sala also the mind behind Pula Golf Resort the course stretches 6,347 meters from the back tees and winds through a classic Mediterranean landscape of pine, olive, and carob trees.
What sets Maioris apart is its dual personality. The front nine draws inspiration from Scottish links, with bumpy greens and natural contours shaping play. The back nine shifts to a more American style, incorporating water hazards and showcasing the island’s native terrain. The layout features four lakes and two striking island greens most notably on the par-5 4th and par-3 13th offering strategic tests that reward accuracy and course management.
Andratx
Located less than 30 kilometers from the island’s capital, Palma de Mallorca, Golf de Andratx awaits in the picturesque coastal town of Camp de Mar. Surrounded by dramatic landscapes and offering breathtaking views, this course is renowned for its challenging layout and unforgettable hole designs, promising a truly exceptional golfing experience.
The course’s signature 6th hole, famously known as “The Green Monster,” is the longest hole in Spain, stretching an impressive 609 meters from the back tees. With its sheer length and strategic design, it lives up to its name. The celebrated Halfway House offers a relaxing pause mid-round, where players can indulge in delicious tapas and refreshing drinks while soaking in the tranquil surroundings.
